LANGUAGE BARRIER

We are all not from one country, this would mean that we have different languages, beliefs and traditions. Language is a very important way of communicating because it is intrinsic to the expression of culture and as a means of communicating values, beliefs and customs. But, every state has its own language. Traveling to a country to another we can encounter different civilians with different languages. Language can be a barrier to communication.


Different languages of the world
Language barrier creates difficulties in communication experienced by people speaking different languages. It could result to misunderstandings and misinterpretations to different people. Language barrier could be a trouble to people and to their everyday lives, for example if working on a foreign city with foreign language, you must learn to communicate with their language to have a successful work. Furthermore, the barrier could lead to discrimination. 

Language barrier could be improved and overcome with practice and learning. This barrier should not be present to create an effective communication

FEMINIST MOVEMENT

Women suffrage were well known in the early 19th century and it is defined as women's right to vote, it is one way for women to gain a voice in that time where they were still being considered as child-bearers and homemakers only. In 1903, with the Association of Ilonga Feminists by Pura Villanueva Kalaw raised the call for women's suffrage until 1928, where American suffragettes Mrs. Carie Chapman Catt and Aleta Jacobs organized an association focused on civic works, the campaign between two American suffragettes together with local women was regularized by the National League of Filipino Women and the Women’s Citizen’s League. Not until 1937 where women in the Philippines have fully exercised their right to vote. In comparison to the 1st wave in the feminist movement that happened in 19th to early 20th century, suffragettes in UK and in US were still fighting for their rights to vote.
